Blue Diamond Care is a North Carolina home care agency preparing for licensure and operational launch and is currently selecting its founding Agency Director & Community Relations — Home Care.

This leadership role supports the successful launch and ongoing operation of Blue Diamond Care through agency administration, community engagement, referral-network development, business growth, client intake oversight, operational readiness, quality management, and collaboration with clients, families, caregivers, referral sources, and agency leadership.

About the Opportunity

This is not a conventional high-pressure sales role and is not designed for aggressive census building.

We are seeking a trusted healthcare communicator who can legitimately satisfy a North Carolina Agency Director qualification pathway while becoming a consistent, credible presence for families, facilities, healthcare partners, and the broader community.

The role carries Agency Director authority and administrative accountability, with substantial operational emphasis on family communication, facility outreach, community relationship stewardship, and education without pressure or transactional messaging.

What You'll Do

As the Home Care Agency Director & Community Relations professional, you will:

  • Exercise the authority and responsibility assigned to the Agency Director and support compliance with applicable North Carolina home care requirements and Blue Diamond Care policies.

  • Serve as a professional daytime point of contact for families, prospective clients, referral sources, and community partners.

  • Develop trusted relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living and memory care communities, hospice providers, senior-serving organizations, and other community resources.

  • Conduct facility visits, breakfast or lunch educational sessions, community meetings, and relationship-building activities that explain Blue Diamond Care services and referral processes.

  • Make timely initial follow-up contact with prospective clients, families, and referral sources identified through the approved intake process.

  • Explain services and next steps clearly, gather preliminary information, and coordinate appropriate follow-up without creating sales pressure.

  • Maintain accurate outreach, referral-contact, follow-up, and administrative records in approved agency systems.

  • Participate in quality assurance, program evaluation, record oversight, policy implementation, and regulatory readiness activities within Agency Director authority.

  • Coordinate with the Agency Owner, General Manager, qualified service supervisors, and designated backup Agency Director while preserving clear role boundaries and accountability.
